Expert Trainer GolfForever
Corrective Exercise Specialist
Kate is a Personal Trainer and the Performance Center Director at TAC Fitness. She is also an Expert Trainer with GolfForever, contributing content to the popular digital Golf Fitness app. Her training philosophy is to improve performance in everyone, no matter the fitness level. To achieve longevity in health and fitness, it’s critical to emphasize safe and effective foundation training and programming that will enhance the lives of any client. Mobility, stability, and assessing movement dysfunctions are key components to the success and progress in gaining overall functional strength and preventing injury. Increases in strength and endurance in the gym transfer into our everyday activities. She believes that by addressing all components of our health (mental, emotional, physical), it gives us the best chance at attaining goals and creating sustainable, lasting change, with exercise being the catalyst.
A collegiate athlete in both volleyball and basketball, she has embodied her passion for fitness and sports from a young age. Kate worked with the Aspen Club in Aspen, CO for several years, executing programs focused around whole health. While at the Aspen Club, Kate was an integral team member in the development of Younger Next Year Total Immersion retreats, bringing the book to life through a lifestyle change program on how to move better and feel better into your 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. She has had the great opportunity to learn from and work alongside some of the best physical therapists, trainers, instructors, and professionals in the industry.
In her free time, you’ll find Kate playing old sports and learning new ones. She loves to travel, spend time with family and friends, and enjoy all this community has to offer.

I grew up in the valley and graduated from Aspen high School in 2012. I spent four years in Oregon at Pacific University where I received my BA in Business Management. I grew up playing sports but fell in love with lacrosse and ended up playing two years in college. In my last year of college, I tragically lost a family member which brought me back to live in the valley. That’s where my true health and fitness journey began.
I avoided the grief I was experiencing and abused my relationship with food. My emotional and physical health suffered because of it. Before I even knew it I had gained all this weight and lost all and any motivation to do to the activities that I loved. After spending almost a year and half letting self pity take over I finally found the strength to overcome my embarrassment and join a gym.
After spending 3 years at TAC not only was I 40+ pounds down but I was creating a normal routine, a healthy relationship with food, and found a positive headspace again. Once I began working for TAC I knew that I wanted to inspire other people in their life no matter what they might be experiencing. General fitness has become my new passion, because it’s brought new challenges and milestones in my life that I never thought I’d see myself achieving. Getting to where I am today got me to pursue my personal training certification as I want to be that person to push you one second longer when just when you think you can’t do it anymore.
When I am not at the front desk or coaching a Performance Center class, you’ll now find me all in black discovering new trails to hike or run.
Amy Honey
Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor & Merchandiser
I have been in the fitness world as a personal trainer and group exercise instructor for almost 20 years. What started as a ‘day job’ during my starving actor days in Los Angeles has now become a true passion. I believe that fitness and health are two of the greatest gifts, and I find great satisfaction in helping people find the workouts that work for them. I want clients to get results and to enjoy the process, discovering classes and activities that energize them and bring gains in cardio fitness, strength, stability and flexibility.
As a somewhat recent transplant to the Roaring Fork Valley, I am thrilled to be in an area that embraces such a healthy lifestyle and so many athletic endeavors. I am excited to be in a position to help gym-goers get stronger and better able to do the things they love outdoors.
I am an ACE certified personal trainer, certified Barre Intensity instructor, spin instructor, and also bring many years of dance and yoga experience to my work in the gym. As a mother of three I also have lots of experience with pre- and post- natal fitness and getting back into shape after taking long breaks!

Born and raised in Glenwood Springs. Loves everything outdoors – mountain biking, hunting, camping, hiking…literally everything!
Amanda is Colorado Mountain Girl through and through. Born and raised in Glenwood Springs and a graduate from the University of Colorado with degrees in Psychology and Communication.
She learned quickly out of college that she can’t do what she loves if she did not spend time consistently focusing on her personal health and wellness. So after 10 years in the hospitality industry, she quit her job, got her Personal Training and Health Coaching Certifications and helped start TAC. That was 12 years ago. Today, Amanda is still committed to inspiring, cultivating and celebrating health and vitality throughout Colorado. Her aim with TAC is to assist individuals and organizations in total health and encourage awareness of health related issues to empower individuals to lead a healthier and fuller life.
Her life motto is: “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. EXPLORE. DREAM. DISCOVER.”
Favorite Quote: “Chance favors the prepared mind.”

NASM Certified Personal Trainer | Group Exercise | Youth & Senior Exercise Specialist
Originally from Oklahoma City, my husband and I moved to the Roaring Fork Valley with our two young children in 2005, where we had our third child and have been here since. As an athlete throughout high school and an all American cheerleader in college, I have always lived an active lifestyle. Although exercise has always been a huge part of my life, I wanted to expand on my knowledge in fitness in order to learn how to properly train and progress.
I promptly became fascinated by the mechanics and techniques of exercise and wanted to share this new passion of mine with others. I became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in 2017, as well as a Youth Exercise Specialist and Senior Exercise Specialist through NASM. I later attained my certifications in Grit and Bodypump, as I love the setting and atmosphere of group fitness classes. Outside of training, some of my favorite activities include trail running, hiking, fishing, skiing, paddle boarding, and spending time outside with my family and dogs.
Through Personal training and group fitness, I want to help others succeed in their fitness goals and enjoy the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle through exercise. I love reaching a variety of demographics, from young athletes, to middle aged individuals, to seniors who are looking to better themselves in whatever way that may look for them. Whether they are looking to get stronger, increase muscle mass, lose weight, keep up with grandkids, or avoid injury, my passion is to walk with individuals throughout their journeys of achieving these goals.

I am a Dallas native and graduated from University of North Texas with an Accounting degree. I have been doing various races since 1992 — road & trail runs, adventure races, triathlons, marathons, ultra-marathons, winter up-hill races, etc. I also enjoy golfing, biking, hiking and eating! I moved to the valley in 2009 and absolutely love the energy and activity of the Roaring Fork Valley.

NASM-CPT, BIRTHFIT Coach
Having always been interested in fitness and nutrition, I am enthusiastic about constantly learning and expanding my knowledge of whole body health. Passionate about empowering individuals through intentional movement, a positive growth mindset, ongoing education and cultivating a deeper connection to their body, I am thrilled to be working with clients at TAC, where the approach to wellness encompasses all aspects of health.
I love experiencing the different ways in which my body can move and experiencing the result of consistent training and discipline. I also fully embrace the concept that life consists of different seasons in which our abilities and goals change and evolve- whether that be year-to-year or day-to-day. A successful and sustainable training program honors that ebb and flow to maximize benefit for the individual in the long term.
As a BIRTHFIT Coach, I am especially passionate about helping women during the parenthood transition by providing prenatal training and postpartum recovery in a supportive, safe, and encouraging environment.
One of the aspects of training I find most rewarding is seeing a client progress towards their goals, realize their potential, and become more at home in their body.
Gavin Webb
Personal Trainer | Functional Training Specialist | Hybrid Athlete
I grew up in Willits and graduated from Basalt High School, so I’m about as local as it gets. Sports and movement have always been a huge part of my life — I spent years playing football and snowboarding competitively, but it was in middle school that I really started diving deep into fitness. I became obsessed with training and learning everything I could about exercise. My mom was studying to become a personal trainer at the time, and she had a huge influence on how I approached fitness early on. Later, my sister — a physical therapy assistant — helped shape my understanding of functional movement and recovery.
While sports got me into the gym, it was the process of building muscle, moving better, and staying injury-free that really locked in my passion. I’ve trained like a bodybuilder, like a football player, like a snowboarder — but what I care about most now is being a hybrid athlete: strong, mobile, and capable in any environment. I believe you can build muscle and still move like an athlete. I want to help people realize they don’t have to pick between looking strong and feeling strong — you can absolutely have both.
I’m ISSA-certified and specialize in functional and corrective training. I love working with anyone who’s ready to put in the work — whether you’re trying to keep up with your kids, perform better on the mountain, or just feel like yourself again. I’m passionate about building fall-resistant athletes — and that doesn’t just mean young people. Athleticism is for everyone, and I want my clients to move with confidence and freedom at any age or background. I just like to make athletes — plain and simple.

ISSA Certified Personal Trainer | Group Exercise Instructor
My passion to live a healthy lifestyle started at a very young age. I grew up as a 5th generation Montanan on our 80 acre cattle farm. Being outdoors has always been a part of my life. I became fascinated with yoga when I attended a hot yoga class in my early teens, which grew into a deeper love for taking care of my body. I took a women’s empowerment class which boosted my confidence and inspired my ambitions. After high school I took the initiative to get my 200 hrs for yoga teacher training, where I used that certification to host my own yoga retreats and yoga in the park events. In 2019 I earned my cycling training certification. I didn’t know at the time, but cycling would help to take me where I am today. I originally came to the valley for seasonal work, and was teaching cycling part time at TAC but soon ended up falling in love with the community at TAC and the beauty of the Roaring Fork Valley area. I wanted to use my knowledge to help others get fit and healthy in the best way possible. l earned my personal training certification through ISSA, and recently earned my HIIT certification. My ultimate goal is to live a happy, healthy life and help others to achieve the same. You might see me around our TAC locations, Snowmass and Willits, teaching various classes. I also work the front desk, stop in and say hi.

I’m a transplant from Connecticut who moved here 8 years ago. After having my twins which were 7lbs,13 oz each in my 20s, I had a lot of weight to lose. Two years later, I had my third
child and struggled to get the weight off. After starting weight watchers, I finally started to get a hold of my diet and added exercise to my daily routine. After about 3 years of ups and
downs I finally lost 130 lbs and started feeling good in my skin. I wanted to continue my fitness journey, as to be an example to my children and to become my best self.
After my kids were grown I got my certification in nursing as an LPN which also inspired me further into the fitness world. When I moved to Colorado, I started taking classes at TAC and fell in love with it. I noticed my body continue to change and become stronger. At 52 I decided to get certified as a personal trainer with ISSA, a comprehensive course in strength and conditioning. My goal is to offer safe progressive Fitness training programs that will meet my client’s goals and needs in an effort to assist and empower them in becoming their best selves.

NASM Certified Nutrition Coach | Certified Transformational Nutrition & Autoimmune Specialist | Nutrition Coaching for Athletes Specialist | MS Personalized Nutrition
I first followed my love of working out to a career in personal training in 2012, and over the next five years worked with a wide range of clients from high school athletes to weekend warriors, designing exercise and nutrition programs to help them feel and perform their best. After a few years off to raise my daughter I found myself back in the wellness space in 2019, this time focused on helping clients optimize performance (and LIFE!) through nutritional protocols that support their goals.
I see nutrition as a powerful tool that we can all leverage to help us meet our goals; whether that’s performing your best in an athletic event, getting through the day with enough energy to chase your kids, or finding relief from long standing symptoms, your nutrition is a big part of the equation and I want to help you understand how to use it to your advantage and design a program that helps you optimize your life while letting you *live* it.
I currently live in Carbondale where I take advantage of everything the beautiful valley has to offer from running to hiking to off roading!
